Rules
The free pass
- The allowance is one free pass per address: one 30-minute pass per email address, ever. An address counts in lower case, without a +tag.
- The pass counts as used when it starts, also when a power cut ends it early.
- When your turn comes, you have 15 minutes to press Start. A miss sends you to the back of the queue once; a second miss ends your place.
- The end time does not move.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, no attack on other systems, and no resale of the access.
- Sharing the key is against the rules. The key is yours for the pass.
- The owner can remove or ban an address at any time.
Interruptible, with no SLA
- The pair runs at the owner's home. Power cuts and failures can end a pass early. Lost time is not given back for a free pass.
- The owner and the admins of the units can use the model and the machines at any time, also during your pass.
- The model restarts before each pass, so it holds no earlier guest's prompts. Prompts and completions are not logged.
Data kept
- Your email address and your queue times.
- The gateway access log of your pass: time, method, path, status and size, with no client address.
- The connection goes through Tailscale Funnel: Tailscale sees your IP address and the time and size of the traffic.
- We email you for your sign-in link, your turn, a missed turn and the end of your pass. The pass key never goes into an email.
